Access to a Supportive Community: Équipe Montréal is more than just a directory; it’s a supportive community where LGBTQ+ athletes and recreation association members can connect, encourage each other, and celebrate their successes. By registering, you enable your members to benefit from this solidarity and participate in our social and community events.

Official Membership Card: After registering your team or organization, you will receive an email with information to share with your members, allowing them to receive an official Équipe Montréal membership card. For the fourth consecutive year, this card is free. It grants access to exclusive benefits and discounts with participating merchants and partners. Note that this card may become paid in future years.

Share Your News: Use our platform to share news, events, and successes from your team or organization. By posting regularly on our site, you can not only inform but also inspire other teams and member associations within the community.

Support and Opportunities: As a member of Équipe Montréal, your team or organization benefits from numerous opportunities to participate in inclusive events, such as the Gay Games, and in our annual Gala where we celebrate achievements within our community.

Registration is completely free for all sports teams and recreation associations.

How will my members receive their membership cards?
After your registration is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for your members to register on our dedicated portal and receive their official membership card. The cards are personalized and valid for one year only. The card is currently completely free.

What happens after the free year of the membership card?
The membership card is currently offered for free. In future years, a fee may be required to renew the card and continue enjoying its benefits. The committee is currently considering this project.

Your team or organization may be eligible for grants to assist with the development of your activities, event organization, or equipment purchases.
